Who are EG Counselling?
EG Counselling was founded in 2020 by directors and therapists Emma Walmsley and Gemma Davis.
Emma is a qualified counsellor who has experience in CBT and person-centred therapy. Emma has experience in working with anxiety, depression and bereavement.
Gemma is a qualified counsellor who has experience in Person-centred and solution-focused therapy and has experience in working with substance misuse, eating disorders and anxiety.
Both are registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their guidance and code of ethics.
At EG Counselling we offer a safe space where you can explore any thoughts and feelings without judgement. We will work together to create a therapeutic relationship that can lead to greater insight into your thoughts and behaviours.

We offer counselling in a way that meets your needs, this may be face to face, on zoom or over the phone. We have evening and weekend appointments to fit around other commitments and provide a comfortable, relaxing therapy room where can safely explore your feelings.
We are registered with the BACP and hold appropriate insurance and DBS Certification. Our Counsellors attend regular supervision and undertake regular CPD.

Meet the counsellors
Hi, I’m Emma and I am a fully qualified counsellor, working within the BACP ethical framework to offer you a safe space to explore your issues.
Together we can develop coping strategies and alternative ways of approaching situations using CBT techniques or talking therapies to help you find your own answers.
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues and extensive work with grief counselling.
- 1:1 Individual Therapy 50 minute session £40
A one-to-one session with either Emma or Gemma. During the initial consultation, you will discuss your specific needs and goals. Based on this information and working with your therapist you will be able to set a regular date and time for your one-to-one sessions. 1-2-1 Sessions can be held online, to fit around your busy schedule and we offer daytimes sessions too.
- 2:1 Couples Therapy 50 minute session £50
A two-to-one session specifically designed for couples therapy, with either Emma or Gemma. During the initial consultation, you will discuss your specific needs and goals. Based on this information and working with your therapist you will be able to set a regular date and time for your sessions. We do not recommend or offer couples therapy via zoom.
Payment is by cash or bank transfer.
Our Therapy rooms are located in Wellington, Telford and we can now offer daytime, evening and Saturday appointments, on request.
